The 2023 Honda Civic Type R is the newest car from Honda and full of high performance horsepower for you to drive.
  • The 2023 Honda Civic Type R is known for being manual transmission only, and breaking the 30-year record of most powerful Type R model.
  • This model has the perfect combination of sophistication and fun– being described as the perfect transition for a teenager who is swapping their piercings and part time job to a full-time working adult, but still has some youth in ‘em.
  • The 2023 Honda Civic Type R is for sale at 6th Avenue Honda is Stillwater, Oklahoma.

The 2023 Honda Civic Type R is a global icon with high-performance capabilities and has been long sought after by driving enthusiasts since its release in July of this year. The 2023 Honda Civic Type R breaks the 30-year record of being the most powerful Type R model. It was built up from nothing and aims to deliver a performance that thrills and gives an addicting driving experience. Here at 6th Avenue Honda, we are ecstatic about having this particular model in stock soon. We want to share with you just how amazing the 2023 Civic Type R is, so keep reading.

Performance Focused-Engineering

Honda has decided to keep a lot about the 2023 Honda Civic Type R in the dark, like the horsepower and torque. BUT, we do know that Honda automakers aimed to make this sedan the most powerful Type R ever. With that being said, we can assume it will have the turbocharged two liter, four-cylinder that would make more than 306 horsepower and 295 lbs. of torque. However, it is very possible that this model could have 316 horsepower that would follow the European and Japanese Type R models. On top of that, the 2023 Honda Civic Type R recently broke the record at the Suzuka Racetrack Circuit in Japan. Honda automakers have also mentioned enhanced suspension and steering, which is different from what they’ve been using on previous models.

Powerful Interior and Exterior Designs

In a way, the powerful interior and exterior designs on the 2023 Honda Civic Type R is the biggest news. It’s typically a love it or hate design, but the new and improved design is all love. The designers of the 2023 Type R model went a route that gives fun, teenage vibes, but also very much an adult styled vehicle, but much more toned down than the previous models. This model has been described as the perfect transition for a teenager who is swapping their piercings and part time job to a full-time working adult, but still has some youth in ‘em.

2023 Honda Civic Type R Exterior

This action Type-R has flared fenders and lightweight, wider tires that are 265 nineteens (the last generation had 245 twenties). Smaller wheels, wider tires, wider opening with a diamond grill, which reflects the same honeycomb pattern found on the interior. The exterior design is all about how air moves around the car. It has side vents as an addition to the grill. Air flowing all the way to the back of the car, enhances the flared fenders that we mentioned earlier, along with wider rear doors. Also on the backside of the 2023 Type R, we see a Honda only feature, three round exhaust tips. The 2023 Honda Civic Type R colors include rally red, racing blue, historic championship white, crystal black, and sonic gray. There is no phoenix yellow, but don’t be surprised if it is a special edition model.

2023 Honda Civic Type R Interior

The Type R is famous for is the manual transmission only. However, we are hopeful that the 2023 model will come with an optional automatic transmission. A very notable Type R only detail is the front, bright red seats that are faux suede. Also, it wouldn’t be the Civic Type R without a red carpet to match. Red carpet on the Civic is a new addition to the model that’s being released in the states. It is a very flashy interior choice that is sure to make those Civic fanatics go crazy. If you’re not into the red front seats, then you can still enjoy your ride in the back where the seat colors are black with red details. The 2023 Honda Civic Type R also has a drive mode +R that changes the gauge cluster to be more racecar ready.

Honda has released the new and improved 2023 Honda Ridgeline Truck that was inspired by the 2022 SUV/truck crossover model
  • The 2023 Honda Ridgeline is the newest Honda truck that received minor upgrades from the 2022 model.
  • The 2023 Ridgeline features comfort, generous cabin space, and comfortability for all riders,, and comes in several different trims including the Sport, RTL, RTL-E, and the Black edition.
  • The 2023 Honda Ridgeline is for sale at 6th Avenue Honda is Stillwater, Oklahoma.

The 2023 Honda Ridgeline is the new and improved Honda Truck. There aren’t any major updates to the new 2023 model from the 2022 model, but this vehicle shouldn’t be counted out. This Honda truck comes with a V6 engine, all-wheel drive, and plenty of features at your convenience. Unlike most trucks, the Honda Ridgeline is built like a crossover SUV. With this, the Ridgeline is a lot more comfortable offering a spacious crew cabin. But let’s take a deeper dive into why this vehicle is far from “old news”.

2023 Honda Ridgeline Truck Interior

Some of the best features this Honda Pickup Truck has is the comfort, storage and interior. When driving, it easily absorbs bumps in the road leaving you with the smoothest drive and is composed around turns. The cushions are broad and have supportive padding making it comfortable for those long distance drives. The automatic tri-zone climate control cools and heats the cabin well with the RTL trims added heated front seats that work quickly. Comfort is the Ridgeline’s strongest feature.

When it comes to storage, this pickup truck bed is where the magic is at. This truck has a lockable in-bed trunk and a trick two-way tailgate that opens down or sideways. Moving to the inside of the truck, there are many small cubbies and a massive center console for any storage needs. Under the rear seats there is big, flat storage more than anyone would ever need and because the rear seats have so much room, it makes it easy to install your child safety seats. The Interior of the Honda Ridgeline features wide opening doors that make entering and exiting the vehicle a breeze. While in the driver’s seat, visibility is expansive, the squared-off hood makes better sense of where the front of the truck is and the large rear view window helps you see items that are in the bed of the truck and any cars behind you.

2023 Honda Ridgeline Truck Performance & Tech

While driving the 2023 Honda Ridgeline, the steering and handling are what make this new pickup unrivaled against other midsize trucks. The Ridgeline has smooth acceleration and has plenty of power when passing other cars on the highway. This truck has been tested and would you believe that the Ridgeline has the ability to go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 7.2 seconds?! The only downside to this amazing truck is limited off-road potential. As this pickup truck is more like a crossover SUV and lacks the underbody clearance, wheel articulation and low range gearing that other trucks have to offer while in rocky terrain, but this pickup truck does perform better on washboard dirt roads then typical solid-axle trucks.

Technology wise, the Ridgeline has an 8-inch touchscreen radio that is easy to use and a volume knob. The Ridgeline also offers voice controls and is compatible with Apple Carplay and Android Auto smartphone integration. All the Ridgelines have adaptive cruise control, forward collision avoidance, and lane keeping assist, However you can add on blind-spot monitoring as well.

Trims and Packages

The 2023 Honda Ridgeline offers four different trims; Sport, RTL, RTL-E and Black Edition. All of the trims have previously mentioned features with the Trims adding on to those features. To add to these trims, the Ridgeline has several packages available to add to your truck. The Function package includes trunk bed dividers, in-bed cargo net, and a first aid kit. The Honda Performance Development package includes bronze or black covered wheels, fender flares, HPD emblems and decals. And the Utility Package comes with roof rails and crossbars. With so many features and add on options, anyone looking for an everyday comfortable truck should check out the 2023 Honda Ridgeline as an option. But let’s look at what exactly each trim entails.

Sport

The base Trim being the Sport with features such as LED headlights, lights in the truck bed, keyless entry and ignition, and Class III trailer hitch with seven-pin connector.

RTL

Adding on to the Sport is the RTL. The RTL adds heated mirrors, a sunroof, heated front seats, Blind-spot monitoring, and noise reducing front windshield.

RTL-E

With the RTL-E the truck bed lights are LED, there is a household-style power outlet in the bed, heated steering wheel, Navigation system, second-row USB charge ports, and front and rear parking sensors.

Black Edition

Lastly the Black Edition, with the same feature of the RTL-E the Black edition boasts black-out exterior trim, black leather interior with red accents, and red ambient interior lighting.

Honda and Sony have teamed up to form Sony Honda Mobility Inc and will be selling cars together in 2025
  • By 2025, Honda and Sony will begin producing electric vehicles and mobility services.
  • Honda broke into the market of electric vehicles, releasing 2 EVs already with plans to further produce EVs with Sony that have a similar connection to the cloud like Tesla.
  • The release of Honda Sony Mobility vehicle is expected to be sometime in 2025 and will be for sale at 6th Avenue Honda in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Something big is happening in 2025. Honda has signed a joint venture agreement with Sony, the dominant tech company, to form Sony Honda Mobility Inc. Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, they plan to start producing electric vehicles and mobility services, with plans to begin sales in 2025. You heard us right and 6th Avenue Honda has all the deets right here, so keep reading!

Honda and Sony

Last year, Honda committed to only selling battery-electric and hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles by 2040, and this collaboration with Sony is a step in the right direction. Both of these industry giants bring a lot to the table. Honda will bring in decades of car-building expertise, while Sony boasts a great deal of experience in network, entertainment, sensing, imaging, and telecommunication technologies.

“The New Company will aim to stand at the forefront of innovation, evolution, and expansion of mobility around the world, by taking a broad and ambitious approach to creating value that exceeds the expectations and imagination of customers,” said Toshihiro Mibe, CEO of Honda Motor.

Sony Honda Mobility is lead by Yasuhide Mizuno, a senior Honda executive, as chairman and CEO, while Izumi Kawanishi, an executive vice president at Sony, will take the position of president and chief operating officer. They will each have a 50-percent stake in the new company.

The EV Industry Take Over

Honda and Sony both just recently entered the EV industry. Honda broke into the market of electric vehicles earlier this year with a partnership with GM. While working with GM, Honda is releasing two 2024 EV models, and plans to continue to create more in the future. Sony has some skin in the game as well. With their two EV concept vehicles, the Vision-S 01 and Vision-S 02, that we saw in 2020 and 2022. Sony did state that they had no plans to mass-produce or sell the vehicle, and the company’s main focus in the presentation was their software and entertainment developments.

Sony isn’t the first technology company to announce their desire to build electric vehicles. There’s a rumor that Apple has been working with car companies to get their own vehicle into production. However, Sony is the first to officially confirm a plan to build, sell, and release a production car.

What Will This Collaboration Look Like?

Currently, we are left to speculate how this collaboration will come into fruition. So far, there has been word about Honda manufacturing the vehicles in their facilities, while Sony will be in charge of creating the software and entertainment content for the mobility service. We are thinking that we should expect a Honda model with Sony designed infotainment and sensing technology. We do have to wonder what name these vehicles will be sold under. Will they be branded as Hondas, or maybe something along the lines of Honda, powered by Sony? There are so many possibilities, but only time will tell.

Sony envisions that the Sony Honda Mobility vehicles will be connected to the cloud, much like Tesla Inc. vehicles, and equipped with in-house sensors that will eventually enable level-four autonomous driving. This technology does not require human interaction in many circumstances, and frees up the driver to focus on other things, possibly Sony entertainment content. Honda confirmed these technologies are under consideration for future joint-venture models.

Sony Honda Mobility will utilize the strengths of both companies, with Honda bringing in experience of producing and selling cars, and Sony its software and technology know-how. Today’s cars are becoming more reliant on consumer and communications technologies, so it does make sense that these companies have come together to do exactly that. This joint-venture was just announced this March, so we are hoping to get more definitive details on their plans in the near future.

6th Avenue Honda

Sony Honda Mobility is a collaboration that we are excited to see more of in the future! The combination of Honda’s auto-making prowess and Sony’s tech and gaming expertise hint at a strong performance from the collaboration. Make sure to stay on the lookout for updates. Be ready for the release of Sony Honda Mobility vehicles in 2025.

If you are looking for a stylish and comfortable midsize SUV, the redesigned 2022 Honda Passport is made for you. Last winter, Honda unveiled the spacious five-seater with extreme versatility and capability. They also piloted the all-new TrailSport line which is purpose-built for tough-terrain exploration.

Get to Know the 2022 Passport

With this new release, they showcased a bold and more rugged redesign. With a bulkier, more aggressive front end and squarer proportions, Honda has pushed the 2022 Honda Passport into the spotlight. The exclusive styling of the Passport TrailSport continues with the orange contrast stitching on the steering wheel, seats, and door panels, along with a black chrome surrounding the gauge cluster and embroidered TrailSport logo on the front seat headrests and all-season floor mats. Honda Hybrids

May 4, 2022
2022 Electric Hybrid Vehicles
  • Honda has released all-new Honda Hybrids in 2022 including the CR-V, Accord, and Civic hybrids as a way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as a whole.
  • Honda is prepared to release over 30 new EVs by 2030 that will exhibit better fuel economy without without sacrificing performance capabilities.
  • The Honda Hybrids are for sale at 6th Avenue Honda in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

CODE RED, CODE RED! This is not a drill! Honda has announced that they plan to focus on electric hybrid vehicles in the coming years! In 2022 they will be revealing an all-new CR-V Hybrid, an Accord Hybrid, and a Civic Hybrid. They will also be sharing their plans to reduce Honda’s greenhouse gas emissions through the electrification of their vehicles. We absolutely love an environmentally conscious automaker! But it doesn’t come as a surprise that Honda has set the bar high for other automakers, considering they have been concerned about reducing their emissions since the 1970s. Honda has already revealed one of their hybrid models back in 2021, and promises to release several other models this year.

2022 Honda Hybrid Unveiled

In April, Honda revealed one of several of their new electric hybrid vehicles coming out in 2022: the Honda Civic e: HEV. The Honda Hybrid Civic has a 2.0 liter direct-injection Atkinson-cycle engine and two electric motors. It also has a sporty and sleek silhouette, a new power control unit, an intelligent power unit, as well as the ability to produce 135 kW and 315 Nm of torque. The amount of glass on this car has been greatly increased as a way to create a lighter, airier interior–a 4-seater with 2-seater vibes, that’s what we like to hear! This new hybrid differs from the previous Civic generation not only in being a hybrid, but also the base of the A-pillar has been pushed further back to align with the center of the front wheels, giving the car a more balanced and wider profile from all angles.

Honda Hybrid Models

Honda has decided to focus on improving their core models, like the CR-V, the Accord, and most recently, the Civic, to move towards a zero-emissions future. With that being said, Honda plans on deploying 30 EV models by 2030. Two thirds of which will be available in China and North America.

An electric motor and an internal combustion engine powers the electric hybrid models. It cannot be plugged in to charge the battery. This is because you charge the battery through braking and by the internal combustion engine. The extra power can allow for a smaller engine to start with. This feature, along with other hybrid features creates a better fuel economy without losing any performance qualities. We’re excited to see how Honda has decided to put their own twist on their 2022 Honda hybrid models.

2023 Honda HR-V In Blue
  • The 2023 Honda HR-V has received major upgrades with a completely new design, upgraded and enhanced performance, and an anticipated modern interior design.
  • Key safety features include automated emergency braking, lane-departure and lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control.
  • Find the 2023 Honda HR-V for sale at 6th Avenue Honda in Stillwater, Ok.

With photos and preliminary details released on April 4th, the Honda 2023 HR-V is completely redesigned in efforts to meet the push for small and stylish SUVs. The last HR-V was practical and easy to drive, but it needed a major change in order to improve its curb appeal and compete against some of the segment’s best models.

A major change is exactly what happened. The new HR-V is completely different from the last model, and also very different from the European model. The HR-V is expected to use either the 2.0-liter naturally aspirated inline-four or the turbocharged 1.5-liter cylinder, both from the Civic because the two vehicles share the same platform; however, a hybrid setup could also be a possibility. The outgoing generation shared its platform with the small Fit hatchback, which was aptly configured to allow for a trick second-row Magic Seat which made the HR-V cargo friendly. Since the HR-V has moved to the Civic platform, the new model is larger than the last and is equipped with an independent rear suspension. It has a longer wheelbase and a wider stance than the outgoing car, as well as a much longer hood and noticeably upsized grille.

Transmission, Performance and Engine

The European HR-V runs on a hybrid powertrain, however the U.S. version is expected to come with a traditional gasoline four-cylinder powertrain. Because the HR-V shares a platform with the new Honda Civic, either a 158-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder or a 180-hp turbocharged 1.5-liter under the new model’s hood. A hybrid could join the lineup too, however that will be launched after the standard nonhybrid. Front-wheel drive and a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) will most likely be the common arrangement with all-wheel drive offered as an option. The new independent rear suspension of the new HR-V looks promising for both ride and handling.

Interior

No photos of the 2023 Honda HR-V’s interior have been released yet. However, the model is anticipated to take on a more modern interior design. It may be inspired by the 2022 Civic. This approach would give the new Honda HR-V a classic and stylish interior. The last HR-V model featured Honda’s second row Magic Seat. Which allows the rear bench to flip and fold to an extremely low, flat floor. This novel feature assisted the small HR-V to lead the segment in cargo capacity despite its size. However, the HR-V’s move to the Civic platform may inhibit the feature.

Technology On The 2023 Honda HR-V

All of the 2023 HR-V models are expected to be decorated with a touchscreen infotainment system. Also with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The European HR-V boasts an infotainment screen. It stands tall in the middle of the dashboard and is larger than the 7.0-inch screen in the outgoing model. The new model will most likely have options for Wi-Fi, SiriusXM radio, and in-dash navigation.

Safety and Driver-Assistance Features

The next HR-V model will almost certainly feature more standard driver-assistance technology, including more advanced technology such as lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control. The key safety features past HR-V generations have been tested on include:

  • Standard automated emergency braking
  • Standard lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist
  • Standard adaptive cruise control

Fuel Economy and Cost

No details have been released for the 2023 Hr-V’s fuel economy ratings yet. The last HR-V was extremely efficient, so the new model is facing a lot of expectations for efficiency and practicality.

Additionally, no information regarding the vehicle’s cost has been released yet. Due to the larger size, and more features than the previous HR-V, the new model’s pricing is expected to increase. Once more is revealed, a more clear picture can be drawn of the HR-V’s price.

This Honda SUV can do it all from handling the daily work commute to a day trip to Tulsa. 6th Avenue Honda is proud to carry this new line of Honda SUV’s in several colors and trim levels to match your style and needs. Not convinced that this SUV is for you? Here are five reasons why that once you try the new Honda HR-V, you’ll want nothing else.

Honda Safety

Honda is well known for their safety and this Honda SUV is no different. One of our fan favorites of the Honda HR-V is that it comes equipped with intelligent safety technology. Several active safety features come with all trim levels of the Honda HR-V including: braking assist, LED daytime running lights, a multi-angle rear-view camera, tire pressure monitoring, anti-lock braking system, vehicle stability assist, and so much more. Included on select trim levels of the Honda HR-V is Honda Sensing Technologies. These technologies include: Honda LaneWatch, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, automatic high-beams, adaptive cruise control, and more. No matter which trim level of the Honda HR-V you choose, you can rest assured that you will be safe in case of an accident.

Performance Features

The performance features of Honda HR-V are slightly amazing. All trim levels include Real-Time AWD with Intelligent Control System. This intelligent control system allows you to be able to handle the road in any terrain or driving conditions. How can this be done you ask? On-demand, the intelligent control system sends power to all four wheels to maximize your traction on the road and to maintain a smooth ride. Oh, and it does have power. This Honda SUV comes equipped with in-line 4-cylinder engine capable of 141 max HP. Not too shabby.

Modern Technology

It has become the unspoken standard that new vehicles come with 2021 technology, not technology from the year 2000. The new Honda HR-V lives up to that expectation. Different trim levels will have different features. This Honda SUV comes with Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink®, Bluetooth® streaming audio, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integrations, either a 5-inch or 7-inch touchscreen display, Pandora® compatibility, SMS Text Message functionality, and an excellent 4-speaker or 6-speaker audio system!

Interior Comfort

No matter if you are headed to the grocery store or to Alabama, your body desires comfort while driving. The Honda HR-V has been designed to bring you ultimate comfort while driving. This Honda SUV is designed to comfortably hold five passengers and also comes with leather-trimmed seats, heated front seats, an adjustable driver’s seat, and the Magic Seat. The Magic Seat is infamous for it’s 2nd row 60/40 split that allows you to configure the second row into three different cargo configurations. These different configurations allow you enough space to tote around all kinds of different, unusual shaped items. If you haven’t seen this before, you should really check it out.

Exterior Style

Style is always important for any vehicle you drive. The Honda HR-V does not disappoint in this arena with its flashy exterior design and sleek features. All models of the new Honda HR-V come standard with projector-beam Halogen lights, LED brake lights, and a matching body color roofline spoiler. Depending on the trim level, it may also come with rear privacy glass, an exhaust finisher, fog lights, and roof rails. Style is definitely included.

Honda has made hybrid cars since before Toyota with its Prius, at least in North America. Nearly every brand on the market today offers a hybrid, electric, or alternative fuel vehicle, but we are one of the few exceptional brands that gets it right. At Honda, we strike the perfect balance between price, style and utility with our budget-friendly pricing, seamless integration of hybrid technology and our cutting-edge design.

Honda’s budget-friendly approach to pricing  makes hybrid cars more accessible for everyone and helps propel the whole ecosystem forward. One thing that makes our hybrid cars special is what you won’t notice while driving them.  The application of hybrid technology is virtually seamless in the Honda hybrid vehicles. An example of this is our regenerative braking system. We apply our impeccable attention to detail to use a blended braking system with traditional discs and regenerative braking from electric motors.  Pressing the brake pedal in a new Insight feels like any other car, with the added benefit of being able to see your braking force translating to battery charge in the car’s instrument panel.

This is where the magic happens for Honda’s hybrid vehicles. We have refined the experience of driving in our hybrid vehicles using hybrid and surrounding technologies in less intrusive ways than vehicles from other manufacturers. Honda packages its hybrids into existing designs. This eases anxiety among buyers who don’t want to drive an overly-futuristic vehicle.  This is important because for many people, the most popular hybrid vehicles are too forward-thinking in their designs.

We package standalone models with cutting edge technology. Honda’s hybrid vehicles don’t scream ENVIRONMENT. You do not have to worry about drawing the wrong kind of attention while driving them.
