Honda Civic Type R TC

Honda is known for its affordable line of vehicles, designed for longevity and efficiency. But lately Honda has been churning out some sweet designs for the racetrack. The TCA Civic Si and TCR Type R have shown us that Honda knows what it’s doing when it comes to designing and manufacturing a vehicle that’s race track ready.

On December 12 Honda unwrapped its race-ready Civic Type R TC. This snazzy race car is brought to us by Honda Performance Development (HPD) and is the next in line of Honda’s turn-key Civic-based customer racing line of vehicles. The Honda Civic Type R TC is now available to Honda Racing Line members with racing licenses exclusively through HPD.

This new race car was engineered by Honda Performance Development for SRO TC Americas and amateur touring car competition. Already, the Honda line of race cars has stirred up a lot of interest in more race worthy Honda Touring Cars for North America, according to Ted Klaus, the President of Honda Performance Development.

6th Avenue Honda of Stillwater, Oklahoma, is proud to be part of an innovative brand like Honda. Whether it’s designing and redesigning affordable vehicles like the 2020 Civic or creating race-ready cars like the Civic Type R TC, Honda is always pushing the limits of what is possible.
