The 2025 Honda CR-V comes with updated style, safety, and has the high-end of features you’d expect from any car. Cargo is almost unlimited in this amazingly spacious cavern 2025 Honda CR-V. Test drive the Honda CR-V at 6th Avenue Honda today The 2025 Honda CR-V comes with everything you’d expect in an SUV, and more. This year’s legacy only continues a long line of safe, dependable vehicles of decades old. The 2025 Honda CR-V gives you that confident look you’d just like to show off to your friends, or even brag about to yourself a little bit (we love to do both). But looks are not just on the outside with this car, but in very small details on the inside. The CR-V comes with the option of leather-trimmed seating, 12 speaker Bose Premium Sound System, as well as the now standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. However, you will find additional features with additional trims. The CR-V’s long legacy of safety, not only continues-but matures within this model. And finally, there is safety, and even a little fun in store. 2025 Honda CR-V Overview The Honda CR-V has always been held to high standards, and it only continues to uphold them in 2025. With capable driving performance, the CR-V will give you a reliable feedback experience, with ultimate safety on the road. Not only will you experience safety in the SUV’s handling capabilities, but also in its large suite of safety features. The exterior is nothing you’ll have to be shy about driving around town, and the interior gives you all those little details you don’t want to miss. Reliable Performance The Honda CR-V delivers the kind of on-road performance you’d expect from the Honda CR-V. When driven from 0-60 mph, it does about what we expect: an 8.0 second performance. Pretty standard for this larger than compact SUV class. However, the CR-V also shows attention to other details. This SUV feels responsive and composed compared to other SUVs in its class. Which means, when you’re driving your kids to camp, or your family on that camping trip, there will be something in the drive. The hybrid in particular has a smooth ride in the city, and is composed around turns. Finally, the available all-wheel-drive system enhances traction and stability, meaning that when you need to go off road, you can go off road. MPG: A Greener Way Off The Road As it has always been, the CR-V is a model when it comes to fuel efficiency in its class. At 28 mpg city and 34 mpg highway, as estimated by the EPA, you won’t have to worry about making too many stops on those long drives. You might also be satisfying the conservationist in you when it comes to footprint. Moreover, this is for front-wheel drive models. It is estimated that projections are slightly slower for all-wheel-drive models, however there are benefits in both configurations. Drive Comfortably Fast The CR-V gives you great confidence in highway driving. With a top speed of 124 mph, you will be easily able to drive comfortably on highways, and overtake your neighboring vehicle when it is called for. The Honda CR-V may be a family car, but it certainly doesn’t withhold where necessary. Confident Design - Inside And Out The Honda CR-V came back to make a statement this year, and that is just what it’s done with its exterior. The SUV boasts a sporty profile, with a confident, powerful look. Its look makes that outdoor man or woman confident to be driving it around town or on the trail, showing it off to his / her friends. The Honda HR-V is a dependable vehicle for reliable family travel, entertainment and safety. The pros of the Honda HR-V include a smooth ride, and interior comfort with space for comfortable driving and all of your cargo. The Honda HR-V is available to buy at 6th Avenue Honda in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The Honda HR-V has always and continues to compete in a growing market. The compact-SUV market is not only advancing, it's also growing larger. To keep up with stiff competition, this family vehicle has added safety features, and enhanced  the comfortability of its interior experience. You will have no difficulty going about any of the activities in your week with this vehicle. The HR-V does suffer from a few minor faults like slow acceleration and the lack of its classic Magic seat. However, we think the pros of the Honda HR-V will outweigh any cons. What is a Honda HR-V? The Honda HR-V is Honda’s most recent upgrade in the compact SUV market. The versatile car brings in many positive features from previous models, in addition to some notable upgrades. Enhanced style should bring head swivels in the direction of this car for anyone in the market for a compact SUV. But what it brings to the outside of this compact SUV, is only enhanced by what has been improved inside. Let’s explore the Honda HR-V. Pros of the Honda HR-V It should only reassure you that this family vehicle has enhanced safety features even above and beyond previous models. Features like traffic jam assist and collision warning with pedestrian detection, help ensure that you, and your precious cargo, can drive with more confidence on the road. Advanced Safety One of the pros of the Honda HR-V is the Honda Sensing feature. While Honda Sensing itself is not a new concept, its continuous development and integration into more vehicles make it a progressively advanced and vital feature in the Honda lineup. Now standard in the HR-V, this suite of advanced safety and driver-assistive technologies include features like road departure mitigation, lane departure warning, and lane department steering assist. These features bring Honda up-to-date with the most competitive models and help ensure that a second pair of eyes is always with you when you’re on the road. Infotainment Screen Not only is the 2025 Honda HR-V’s infotainment system now more accessible, it is also more advanced. The 2025 infotainment has not only been described as refreshingly easy to use and quick to respond, but its standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay ensures that no one will go without entertainment on long or short trips. This feature can be important for keeping any little one busy and distracted on drives. Accommodating Interior While seating is adjustable, this 60/40 arrangement is already described as comfortable for most riders who tried the car. In addition, added space in front of the car enhances the driver experience. Moreover, the generous cargo area makes it easy to transport anything from luggage to even larger items with the rear seats folded down. These features make this SUV possible for a mom or dad to accomplish anything from those special camping trips, to the weekly shop at the grocery store. Smooth Drive The updated model’s new fully independent rear suspension improves the car-driving experience all around. With this feature in place, the HR-V is one of the best-riding subcompact SUVs available. Responsive handling and a well-tuned suspension system absorbs bumps and road imperfections effectively. Because of these features, this model drives extremely comfortably both on the road and off, making it fitting for those who often have both urban and rural drives. Cons of the Honda HR-V Although we feel that the pros of the Honda HR-V outweigh the cons of the Honda HR-V, there are still a couple of things to consider. With such versatility, it is hard to really count anything as a con. However, there are two key cons of the Honda HR-V that do exist. The first, is the slow powertrain, and the second is the loss of its Magic seat. Slow Powertrain The engine’s lower response does mean slower acceleration and a greater degree of planning is necessary for maneuvering. Overall, the slow powertrain is really only slightly behind the abilities of its competitors. This compact SUV was built to safely take families from point A to point B, so it’s no surprise that it’s not a speed demon.d. No More Magic Seats The magic seat is a feature that for the most part, only loyalists will miss. The earlier models of the Honda HR-V contained a rear Magic seat, that when folded, can accommodate different types of cargo. However, the change was predicated on a need for structural changes and safety features which enhance the safety of the car. For this reason, we tend to think of this change as less of a loss, and more of a gain. Is The Honda HR-V Worth It? We believe that all of the experiences you will have in your Honda HR-V will far outweigh any cons. With its advanced safety features, you won’t have to worry about that distraction from the back seat to avoid the latest obstruction on the road. Instead, you’ll have a second pair of eyes. Moreover, you and your family will be entertained by the adaptable infotainment center, from going rock climbing to grocery store, you’ll have no trouble getting you and your cargo comfortably from Point A to Point B. Finally, the ride will see even more enhanced comfort be with the car's updated handling. While it does offer a slower powertrain and a lack of magic seats, we think these small cons can easily be adapted to, and are far outweighed by the pros. Buy A Honda HR-V From 6th Avenue Honda So now that you know all the pros and cons of the Honda HR-V, you can make an informed decision. We’d like to know what you think. Do the pros of the Honda HR-V outweigh the cons of the Honda HR-V? The Honda CR-V is the newly redesigned compact SUV that pairs fuel efficiency and dependability with impressive interior room. The pros of the Honda CR-V include a comfortable interior with lots of cargo space and advanced safety features. The Honda CR-V is available to buy at 6th Avenue Honda in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The CR-V has remained as one of the best Honda SUVs since its inception. The compact SUV was a totally new idea when it was introduced, and since, it's gone through plenty of redesigns to keep it up to date. The new models have plenty of exciting features like their comfortable interiors and plethora of cargo space. The CR-V does suffer from a few minor faults like a rear visibility problem and soft brakes. It’s important to know all of the good and bad of a vehicle before deciding whether or not to make a purchase. What is the Honda CR-V? The Honda CR-V, aka Comfortable Runabout Vehicle, was introduced in 1997 as the first compact SUV in the North American market. Since then it has seen many new features added as well as multiple facelifts that have kept it looking modern and sleek. The CR-V has remained one of the most popular SUVs, staying ahead of the competition even after more compact SUVs were introduced. The 2024 Honda CR-V is one of the most impressive models yet, boasting plenty of impressive features. There are numerous pros and cons of the Honda CR-V that you should consider before buying. Pros of the Honda CR-V Honda has spent years making the CR-V one of the best compact SUVs on the market. Pros of the Honda CR-V include its spacious and comfortable interior, advanced safety features, and impressive handling. Large Amount Of Cargo Space One of the biggest pros of the Honda CR-V is the plethora of cargo space you will find. The rear cargo area is already plenty big, but the rear seats will also fold down to provide up to 3 cubic feet of extra space. There’s also features like a foot release for the rear tailgate to help you open and close the back when your hands are full. Comfortable Interior The newest models of the Honda CR-V have seen totally redesigned interiors with a focus on comfort and style. The materials are premium all around, and the included controls are intuitive as well as easy to use. Lastly, there is more than enough space for all passengers. Overall, the new interiors for the CR-V are perfect for daily commutes, long road trips, and everything in between. Advanced Safety Features Honda has always been known for providing the best and newest safety features on their vehicles. This continues to be one of the pros of the Honda CR-V, featuring a new and improved blind spot monitoring system. The airbags have also seen redesigns that have increased their abilities to protect passengers during a crash. Handling Honda has worked to make the CR-V not only affordable and comfortable, but also fun to drive. The newest models of the CR-V feature a state-of-the-art steering design that allows it to tackle corners with ease. Even though it’s not as small as a sedan, the CR-V is still able to drive surprisingly well, feeling very agile for its size. Cons of the Honda CR-V The Honda CR-V is undoubtedly an impressive vehicle. Personally, we think the pros of the Honda CR-V outweigh the cons of the Honda CR-V. However, there are a few cons of the Honda CR-V that are important to consider before you decide whether or not to purchase one. There are a few blind spots in the rear, the brakes could be considered a bit soft, and lastly there is no PHEV variation. Rear Visibility Blind Spots Due to the more comfort focused design of the rear seats, the visibility out of the back of the CRV can be impeded. The headrests and seat belts are what take up more visible space in the smaller back window. Thankfully, this con is helped by the suite of safety features. The blind spot monitoring system was improved to help reduce this visibility issue significantly. Soft Brakes The new CR-V models have seen an increased focus not only on comfort, but a more fun driving experience. As a result, the brakes still feel a bit mushy. However, this issue can be improved with the option of regenerative braking. This feature adds a bit of extra resistance to the pedal, allowing for a more stiff braking feel. No PHEV Version With the new high tech features on the newest CR-V, Honda is inching closer to their all electric lineup. Unfortunately, that means that for the time being, there is no plug-in hybrid version of the CR-V. However, there are features like regenerative braking on the standard hybrid that help signal the arrival of an electric SUV in the future. Is the Honda CR-V Worth It? So now that we’ve laid out the pros and cons of the Honda CR-V, you’re able to make an informed decision. Like we said earlier, we think the pros of the Honda CR-V outweigh the cons of the Honda CR-V. This is partly because the Honda CR-V continues to rank high in many categories thanks to its groundbreaking design. In fact, Car And Driver ranks the 2024 CR-V number one on their list of Best Compact SUVs for 2024. The redesigned interior has allowed for even more space for not only the passengers, but also lots of cargo. The improved handling and upgraded safety features make the driving experience fun and safe. Even though there are a few minor complaints like the brakes and blind spots, these end up being nearly insignificant drawbacks that are outshined by the rest of the vehicle. The Honda Ridgeline is the sole pickup truck in Honda’s lineup, and provides a versatile and comfortable driving experience. Pros of the Honda Ridgeline include smooth ride and handling, a spacious cabin, and a variety of bed configurations. Find the Honda Ridgeline for sale at 6th Avenue Honda in Stillwater, Oklahoma. When it comes to mid-size pickup trucks, nothing is quite as versatile as the Honda Ridgeline. It strikes the perfect balance between comfortable ride and rugged utility. On the inside, the driving experience is almost as smooth as a car! While under the hood is an engine that provides a good amount of hauling power. In the back is a spacious cargo bed that can be outfitted with high tech features. There are still a few minor cons like the limited tow capacity, and number of trim options. It’s important to research all of the pros and cons of the Honda Ridgeline before making your purchase. We think the pros of the Honda Ridgeline outweigh the cons, but you should decide for yourself! What is a Honda Ridgeline? The Ridgeline is the only pickup truck in the Honda lineup. It is a midsize pickup that combines the utility and capableness of a truck with the durability and efficiency of a Honda vehicle. It was first introduced in 2006, and has always ranked highly compared to other mid-size pickup trucks. Some might think one of the cons of the Honda Ridgeline is the fact that it’s smaller than your typical truck. Though it is a smaller pickup truck, the Honda Ridgeline still packs a punch with a comfortable interior and high tech features. Those are just some of the pros of the Honda Ridgeline. Unlike many other trucks, the Honda Ridgeline still retains the reliability and fuel efficiency that Honda is known for. There are numerous pros and cons of the Honda Ridgeline that can help you make your decision on whether or not to choose the Ridgeline. Pros of the Honda Ridgeline Honda vehicles have always been highly awarded and therefore extremely popular. The Honda Ridgeline is no exception. The smooth ride and handling are exceptional, especially for a pickup. Meanwhile the interior is comfortable and packed with safety features. Arguably the highlight of the newer Ridgeline models is the variety of bed configurations. Smooth Ride and Handling Many pickup trucks on the market today sacrifice ride quality for increased robustness. The Honda Ridgeline doesn’t have to make any sacrifices thanks to its unibody construction and independent rear suspension. The ride in a Ridgeline is just as comfortable as the ride in a car! This makes the Ridgeline a versatile vehicle that can strive with road trips and communing just as well as off-road and cargo hauling situations. Spacious and Comfortable Cabin Although the Honda Ridgeline is a mid-size pickup, you would never know from the spacious interior! There is a plethora of leg room and storage space, providing a comfortable ride for all passengers. Everything is made from the highest quality materials and features all of the newest infotainment and technology. The interior of the Honda Ridgeline strikes the perfect balance between the comfort of a car and the rugged utility of a truck. Advanced Safety Features Honda has always made safety a top priority in all of their vehicles. Most of the Ridgeline trims come equipped with the Honda Sensing® safety suite. This comprehensive suite of driver-assistive technologies includes features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking. These standard features, and a host of available options, work constantly to keep you safe and comfortable on the road. Versatile Bed Configurations One of the biggest features that separates a truck from any other vehicle is the cargo bed. The Honda Ridgeline boasts a spacious cargo bed compared to other mid-size trucks. Not only does it have a lot of room, but it also has a variety of high tech options to add on. These handy features include things like power outlets for running lights and other items off of your truck battery, and a truck bed audio system to play tunes right from your tailgate! Cons of the Honda Ridgeline Although the pros of the Honda Ridgeline show that it’s a versatile and capable mid-size pickup truck, there are a few areas in which it has minor drawbacks. Some would say cons of the Honda Ridgeline include things like the towing capacity.  Although the towing capacity is respectable, it is not up to par with larger trucks. The increased comfort means that off-road capabilities have been decreased. Lastly, there’s a limited number of trim options compared to other trucks. Towing Capacity The Honda Ridgeline is a surprisingly comfortable and spacious vehicle for its relatively small size. Honda has chosen to reduce the overall towing capacity to help improve the driving experience. Although it is not up to par with other trucks in its sector, the Honda Ridgeline still has respectable towing capacity and can still perform many heavy duty jobs. Off-Road Capability Although there is a very capable all-wheel drive system on the Honda Ridgeline, it is not as robust as some of the other dedicated four-wheel drive systems on other trucks. The Ridgeline will still get great traction and control on off road surfaces, but will ultimately fall a bit short when compared to other traditional body-on-frame trucks. Limited Trim Options Many other mid-size trucks on the market feature a large variety of trim options with a ton of available features to pick and choose from. Honda has chosen to streamline the buying process by not offering as many trim options. While this may reduce the amount of customization possible, it does mean there are not as many things to consider when purchasing one. Honda Ridgeline For Sale at 6th Avenue Honda So now that you know the pros and cons of the Honda Ridgeline, you can make an informed decision if the Ridgeline is the truck for you. What do you think? The Honda Passport is the newly redesigned mid size SUV that features plenty of space as well as a powerful engine for on and off road capability. Pros of the Honda Passport include standard All Wheel Drive, as well as a host of new included safety features. The Honda Passport is available to buy at 6th Avenue Honda in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Over the years, Honda has built a reputation for their long lasting, quality vehicles, and the Passport is no exception. Although this SUV is extremely well rounded, it’s important to know all of the pros and cons when considering purchasing one. Every type of vehicle on the market today comes with both unique features and some small drawbacks. Although there are many state-of-the-art features and options all around the Honda Passport, there are still some minor flaws as well. Let’s take a look at what makes the Honda Passport so special, and what you might consider before buying one. What Is A Honda Passport? The Honda Passport is an iconic SUV that’s been in production since 1994. It is well known for its off-road capabilities, spacious interior, and high tech features all around. Over the years, Honda has upgraded the Passport, improving the inside space, infotainment screen, and overall technology features. Honda has also improved the off road and towing capabilities to make the  Passport an extremely well rounded vehicle in spite of some of its shortcomings. Pros Of The Honda Passport The Honda Passport has been improving with each model year to make it even more competitive in the midsize SUV market. It has earned multiple awards over the years including Best 2-Row SUV for families in 2022 and Best 2-Row SUV for the money in 2021 from U.S. News. Below we have listed out pros of the Honda Passport. All Wheel Drive Is Standard One of the most important features of any off road or towing vehicle is the inclusion of all-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is often an option that costs extra on other vehicles. However, on the Honda Passport, all-wheel drive is a standard feature across all models. In addition to improved off-road capabilities, all-wheel drive also helps you get better grip and performance on asphalt as well. This means that even the base model Passport will be able to tackle tough road situations with ease. This is definitely one of the pros of the Honda Passport. Cargo Room Honda has paid special attention to making the interior of the Passport spacious and comfortable for passengers. There is ample space in the interior cubbies all around the passenger cabin. In addition, there is plenty of space for luggage or groceries behind the back seats. You can also fold down the back row to nearly double the available cargo space. You will not have to worry about running out of space in the Honda Passport! Safety Features One of the major pros of the Honda Passport is the well equipped suite of safety features. Honda has taken a comprehensive approach to their safety technology and have chosen to give every single one of their vehicles all of the essential features, regardless of price. Included with every  Passport are features like a Collision Mitigation Braking System, a Road Departure Mitigation System, as well as Forward Collision and Lane Departure Warnings. There are so many included features that it would be impossible to list them all out in one paragraph. You can visit the Honda website to learn about all of the technology included in the Passport to keep you safe on the road. Comfortable Interior The interior of the Passport is designed not only to maximize cargo space, but comfort as well. There is a plethora of leg room on both the front and back rows of seats that allow you to stretch your legs and relax. Headroom is plentiful and can be even better with an optional moonroof. The infotainment system has always stayed up to date. Wireless Apple Carplay and AndroidAuto are standard on the newer models. Honda has paid extra attention to ensuring that the Passport provides one of the best driving experiences on the road! Cons Of The Honda Passport Although the pros of the Honda Passport are abundant, it still has a few small shortcomings. Most of the cons of the Honda Passport simply come from the fact that a midsize SUV has to make compromises in certain areas. Things like fuel efficiency get replaced to maximize performance and interior space. Low MPG Compared To Competitors Every midsize SUV will pale in comparison to smaller SUVs and sedans in terms of fuel efficiency. Although the Honda Passport does get respectable fuel economy for its size, it can be a little less efficient than other competitive SUVs. However, the main reason why the Passport is not as fuel efficient as its competitors is due to features like the standard all-wheel drive and the impressive V6 engine. More fuel efficient SUVs won’t have the same off road and towing capabilities. This is definitely one of the cons of the Honda Passport. No Hybrid Options There is no hybrid powertrain option available for the Honda Passport. This may be disappointing for those looking for a more fuel efficient option. However, the 2024 model year offers three different trim options available with a very powerful V6 engine under the hood. Although there is no hybrid powertrain available, the standard engine will provide plenty of performance and torque for towing and offroading, as well as traveling long distances or daily commutes. Third Row Takes Up A Lot Of Space There’s no doubt that the Honda Passport has a plethora of space on the inside. However, with so much room for the front and middle seats, the third row might be a bit tight. The choice to include more cargo storage in the back also hinders the space available. There is also an option to remove the middle seat on the second row, giving the last row more space. In the end, the improved cargo space and leg room had to come at the expense of a more spacious third row, but there are options available to improve it. Get A Honda Passport From 6th Avenue Honda The Honda Passport is a well equipped, and fully rounded out midsize SUV. The fuel efficiency and hybrid powertrain may have been lost, but it was a choice made to improve nearly every other aspect of the vehicle. The 2024 Prologue boasts a plethora of amazing features that most drivers love. What are the pros and cons of the 2024 Honda Prologue? Let’s take a look at what all the buzz is about this new EV. What Is A Honda Prologue? Honda has decided to mark their entry into the fully electric vehicle market with the 2024 Prologue. This crossover SUV is fully equipped with the latest technology and a spacious interior. The electric motor gets you quick speeds and a 300 mile range. The price is competitive and makes the 2024 Prologue a very attractive option for families or commuters looking to go electric. Below we have listed out the pros and cons of the 2024 Honda Prologue. Pros Of The Honda Prologue At 6th Avenue Honda, we know the new 2024 Prologue inside and out. There are plenty of exciting features that make this EV one of the most exciting in its class. 1. Exterior Styling Many of the new fully electric SUVs feature futuristic exterior styling, and the 2024 Honda Prologue is no exception. The styling seems to find a perfect balance between conventional gas-powered SUV and all-electric car of the future. With plenty of available options, you can make the 2024 Prologue your own. 2. Space Some crossover SUVs are deceptively short on interior space. The 2024 Honda Prologue is one major exception to that with plenty of interior passenger and cargo space. The expansive interior boasts over 136.9 cubic feet of room. With a roomy second row, and a surprising amount of cargo space in the back, road trips will be comfortable and stress free. The 2024 Honda Prologue is sure to fit the size needs of families, daily commuters, or rideshare drivers alike. 3. Safety Features All models of the 2024 Prologue come standard with a suite of safety features called Honda Sensing. This package includes some of the basic safety systems like automated emergency braking and lane-departure warning. Also included are more advanced features like lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and traffic-sign recognition. 4. Charging Every model of the 2024 Honda Prologue comes with an 85KWh battery that has a range of up to 300 miles. If you have access to a DC fast charging station, you can expect to charge at a max rate of 150 kW. At this speed, you can add 65 miles to a nearly empty battery in about 10 minutes. There is also a home charging kit available, although it does have slower charging speeds. 5. Affordability One of the highlights of the 2024 Prologue is its affordability compared to other vehicles in its class, fully electric or gas powered. A generous electric car federal tax credit gets you a $7,500 deduction on the price. The base model of the 2024 Honda prologue starts out at $48,795 and goes up to $59,295, with added options. This puts the base model just $1,000 over the Honda Passport, and keeps it very competitively priced even compared to gas powered SUVs. Cons Of The Honda Prologue Even though there are plenty of things to be excited about the 2024 Honda Prologue, there are a few cons that you should also keep in mind. 1. Range The 300 mile range on the 2024 Prologue is as much, if not more than most gas-powered SUVs. However, it sits in the middle of the pack in terms of range when compared to other electric SUVS in its class. Some models like the 2024 Rivian R1S get up to 352 miles of range. It’s worth noting that the R1S is about twice as expensive as the 2024 Prologue. Charging is relatively quick with the 85KWh battery, but for long road trips the smaller range may be an issue. However, for the price point the 2024 Honda Prologue still provides above average range and reliability. 2. Acceleration Many of the newest EVs pack quite a punch when you put your foot down. The 2024 Prologue admittedly lacks accelerating power compared to some of the other EVs on the market. It has a 0-60 time in the 7 second range, which lags behind EVs like the Kia EV6 GT which does 0-60 in only 2.3 seconds. However, the reason for the reduced acceleration times is due in part to a compromise that most likely had to be made to achieve extended range at the lower price point. 3. Interior Controls One complaint to consider about the 2024 Honda Prologue is the design of the interior controls. The buttons and knobs are actually carried over from other Chevrolet models and sometimes feel a bit out of place in the modern Honda interior. However, the functionality of the interior infotainment and controls remains good. The complaints are mostly chopped up to aesthetic preference.
