Performance
The new Honda CR-V hybrid is the most powerful and fuel-efficient CR-V yet. It has a 40 mpg EPA city fuel economy rating, and better off-the-line acceleration.
With the refinement of Honda’s two-motor hybrid technology, the CR-V Hybrid is able to seamlessly shift between three different drive modes: EV Drive, Hybrid Drive, and Engine Drive. The drive modes are done with no input from the driver, and automatically selects the best mode for the conditions.
Power
The CR-V Hybrid shares a similar two-motor hybrid system used in the Honda Accord Hybrid. The CR-V Hybrid is enabling more time in EV mode then previous Honda hybrids. The two-motor hybrid system is able to operate without the need for a conventional automatic. It is able to provide a total system output of 212 horsepower
Safety
The 2020 CR-V Hybrid has received a 5-Star Overall Vehicle Score from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. As well as a Top Safety Pick rating from the insurance institute for Highway Safety. It also received superior rating for frontal crash prevention with Honda Sensing.
